Have enjoyed all of the McKenna's Haven series, and frankly, all of Lisa Crane's work. Waited a long time for this one and somehow missed it's release. Liked the main character's and also liked the return and interaction of Jack and Jessie from an earlier book. Other main characters of past books also returned in lesser roles, but especially liked how Win and Skye were utilized. Respect the way Lisa Crane writes; -her romances are very romantic, yet clean and believable. She doesn't cross the line to make it inappropriately titillating, nor does she make it seem fairy-tale-ishly perfect, her characters, -especially Delaney here, really struggles with following God's will instead of simply falling into a perfect Christian walk. The mystery portion of the tale had me thinking I was quite the accomplished sleuth, only to come across a twist near the end, blowing my theory right out of the water. The author was kind enough to respond to a past review and I suggested another installment written around a secondary character from an earlier book. She said she was looking at Jesse's brothers, but the little teaser at the end suggests the character I was hoping for in the next installment. Yippee, Lisa!!! I can't wait!!Product details

I have enjoyed every book in this series. I can't imagine a son named love. He accepted this well after maturing. Laney is a special person. Read and enjoy. Amazing kisses and caring. True love is a gift. It was nice to read more of the older brothers. Their wives seemed a bit meek. Since the book wasn't about them I may be wrong.
IF you loved Lisa's other books in this series, Delaney's Peace will not disappoint. Personally, I think we need another book to get the last James brother married...then fast forward a few years, and visit with Breck. Saying more about why I like this book would give plot lines. Since I hate it when others tel the story in their review, I won't do that. Read the book. It's good.
I have read all of the books in this series up to this point. The characters are well defined. Delaney is a strong yet vile real leading lady with a quick defensive nature that she has developed to protect herself. It doesn't hide her sweet heart. L'amour James sexy strong lawman. He fits right in with the rest of his family & McKenna's extended family. I will definitely be rereading the series. Feel good reads.
I have officially read EVERYTHING FROM THIS AMAZING AUTHOR and I can tell you that THIS is a marvelous work!!!! I cannot stop bragging about this author, this series, and the MESSAGE that she includes in each story! I consider myself TRULY BLESSED to have discovered Lisa's gift and pray that you will take time out of your busy life to explore and enjoy this beautiful romance with Christ at its core!!! Do NOT hesitate to put her books at the VERY TOP of your WISH LIST!!!!
I have read several of Lisa Crane's books, but this series was great! Never lost my interest, just wanted to keep on going. So sorry it ended. Each book was easily a stand alone, but loved getting into each characters life and getting to know them! So dang it, now I've got to find another book to read. Any suggestions. Please Lisa keep on writing, even loved the characters names in these books, just made the reading that much more fun. Thanks again Lisa!
I've been a fan of this author for a few years now and can't but be excited when a new book is released. I normally finish them in one sitting but something about this one beckoned me to take it slow. I am so glad I did! Lisa's gift of storytelling has reached a new level. This story of Delaney and L'Amour has the same Christian romance element you love about Lisa's stories. This one does not disappoint and does not lack in chemistry and delivers the right amount of heat. I absolutely loved the murder mystery element in this story. I can't tell you which was more suspenseful - trying to determine the killer's identify in time or if L'Amour could break through the walls around Delaney before it was too late. If you love the McKenna's Haven series you won't be disappointed. All your favorites are back plus a few surprises! Highly recommend this book! Take my advice... Take it slow, you will want to savor this one!!
I thoroughly enjoyed Delaney's Peace written by Lisa Crane. This is book 6 in the McKenna's Haven series. I loved this series. Lisa Crane has a way of making you fall in love with her characters. They are believable people. Faults and all, you love the characters. I found it hard to put the book down. It had a little bit of everything. A love story and a mystery. It was good clean book. I have already recommended this series to several of my friends. Please keep writing, Lisa Crane. You definitely have the talent. We need more of your books.
